  1. Who we are

    Oakwood Barrel Craft is a trading name of Oakwood Cooperage (company number SC596065, VAT GB297650555) with its registered office at:

    References to “we”, “us” or “our” mean Oakwood Cooperage trading as Oakwood Barrel Craft.

  3. Scope of these terms

    These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made on www.oakwoodbarrelcraft.co.uk. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

  4. Eligibility

    You must be 18+ and capable of entering into a legally binding contract to buy from us.

  5. Products, images & availability

    Our products are handcrafted from reclaimed whisky casks. Natural variations in grain, markings, and dimensions are part of their character. Sizes and weights are approximate. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we’ll offer an alternative or refund.

  6. Prices & VAT

    Prices are in GBP and include VAT unless stated otherwise. If we discover a pricing error, we’ll ask you to reconfirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

  7. Payment

    We accept major credit/debit cards (PayPal coming soon). Payment is taken at order placement. You confirm you’re authorised to use your chosen payment method.

  8. Order process & contract formation

    We’ll acknowledge receipt of your order by email. A binding contract forms on dispatch of your goods.

  9. Delivery

    We deliver across mainland UK using trusted partners such as Palletline, DPD, DX Freight, and Parcelforce. Dispatch is usually within a couple of days.
    Pallet deliveries are kerbside as standard; pallet trucks cannot operate on uneven or loose surfaces.Full details are on our Delivery Information page.

  10. Risk & title

    Risk transfers on delivery. Title passes when we receive full cleared payment.

  11. Returns & refunds

    If you’re not completely happy, return the item in its original condition within 30 days for a refund of the item price (delivery excluded). If we made an error, we’ll cover all costs. Full details are on our Returns & Refunds page.

  12. Consumer cancellations

    Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel most online orders within 14 days from the day after you receive your goods.

    • Goods must be returned in their original condition.

    • Contact us first so we can arrange the return.

    • We’ll reimburse you in full (including the least expensive standard delivery cost, where applicable) within 14 days of receiving the goods or proof of return.

    • Exceptions: This right does not apply to bespoke or personalised items made to your specification, unless faulty.

  13. Faulty or misdescribed goods

    We comply with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If goods are faulty or not as described, contact us for a remedy.

  14. Governing law & jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Scottish law. Scottish courts have non-exclusive jurisdiction; UK consumers may bring proceedings in their local courts.
